KEYSOE

I was SO excited to take CLASS SPEC (Specs) and MONBEG ALCATRAZ (Dave) to Keysoe for their first event of the season, both competing in the BE90.

First up was Dave. He has come on so much already from his first test at Tweseldown and performed a really tidy test to lead his section on a 28. He then jumped a lovely (steady) double clear but was competing HC so no ribbons today.

Specs was super on the flat but the mark of 33 was slightly higher that what we were expecting. He jumped a very nice SJ rail just lowering a pole for 4 faults and had a great spin round the XC to finish in 11th place.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with these two young horses right at the start of their careers – they are so different but both have phenomenal strengths and the future is looking really exciting.
