It was a fairly busy day at Homme House with CLASS SPEC in the BE1005yo class and MONBEG ALCATRAZ and MAGNIFIQUE VD DOORNHAAG in the NOV

Up and coming star 6yo MONBEG ALCATRAZ owned by Mark and Kristy Ryan jumped a beautiful double clear round his first Novice. He performed a good test for his first attempt at the level and we took him steady XC but so excited about the feel he gave me and how he has stepped up.

MAGNIFIQUE VAN DE DOORNHAAG owned by Tim and Alex Haggard and Judy Kunkler was lovely in the dressage to score a 28 and had a really good spin round the XC. We tried a new bridle in the SJ which didn’t quite pay off but otherwise a good day for her.

Brenda Watson’s CLASS SPEC also delivered a good test to score 30 – he had an uncharacteristic 8 faults SJ so we decided to save him for another day, he’s jumped plenty of clear rounds so we will forgive him an off day.  He will now head to West Wilts next week.
