We had a great day today with THE DIAMOND GAMBLER and BAYANO at Hartpury for some winter jumping.
DIAMOND GAMBLER jumped a flawless double clear in the Newcomers to finish in 2nd place – I am thrilled with how he has come on this winter and is so much stronger and more rideable. We even managed a few turns to come home in profit…our plan was always to jump him in another class but after he had been so good we decided to save him for another day, there is a long season ahead.
BAYANO jumped beautifully in the B & C Blue Chip qualifier in his first bigger class of the season. It was nice to be jumping some larger fences to get the adrenaline going! He jumped flawlessly not touching a pole but unfortunately I missed my turn to a fence and so circled, so no prize money for him today – nevertheless I am so excited about how fresh and forward he has come out of this winter so I am very excited for whats in store this season.
This coming week we are welcoming Andrew Fletcher back to the yard for some serious dressage training and it will be the babies turn to be out and about in the lorry with SJ and XC schooling planned
