It was a very long drive up to Great Witchingham but two lovely young horses certainly made the trip worth it.
Brenda Watson’s and my own CLASS SPEC (Specs) was competing in the BE1005yo class and Kristy and Mark Ryan’s MONBEG ALCATRAZ (Dave) was in the regular BE100.
Specs was lovely in the dressage so we were slightly disappointed with his mark of 32.5 – but he more than made up for it with another lovely double clear to finish in 5th place. Sadly just outside the qualifying placings but another fantastically consistent result for this special young horse.
Thankfully Dave had learnt the error of his ways from the previous weekend and led the dressage with a 24.8. He also jumped a lovely double clear to take home the win and prove to us all what an exciting horse he is for the future .
