So almost straight after Badminton it was back to it and we headed off to Aston le Walls (2) with my own DIAMOND HOLLY (Princess) and Isobel Crosbie’s THE DIAMOND GAMBLER (Brian) in the Novice and Isobel’s MOYLAW BADGER (Milo) in the Open Novice.
It was a very early start but well worth the lack of sleep as they all were fantastic. Princess and Brian were good on the flat but scored an average 35. Princess then jumped a lovely double clear inside the time to finish 11th, and Brian rubbed an unlucky fence and then also jumped clear inside the time for 7th. Milo was the star of the day scoring a very competitive 29 and jumping a lovely double clear to finish 2nd!
